Lunch at Kaveri's
On Monday I returned to Warsaw from Odessa. Rocana picked me up at the airport and brought me to the Warsaw temple, where I stayed overnight. After giving the Bhagavatam class the next morning we drove south for 4 hours to Wroclaw. We took lunch at the apartment of my disciple Kaveri dd, Rocana's sister, and her husband Gauranga Avatara das, a disciple of HH Indradyumna Maharaja.

Gauranga Avatara is an excellent cook. Kaveri is readying to take her final exam for a PhD in architecture. |

I did not have enough time to do puja for my silas before leaving Warsaw. So at Kaveri's place I offer fruit and yoghurt and chant Purusa Sukta, the bare minimum level of worship I do in emergency cases. |
I set up Jagannatha-Sudarsana only (not the other silas). |
After the offering I took my seat for the prasadam service. Kaveri had laid out plates and some cork pot bases (the hot pots fresh off the stove are set on them when the serving starts). While Kaveri was out I noticed one pot base had a piece missing out of the edge. As she returned I pretended I had bitten the piece off and was chewing it. "Very nice bread preparation," I said to her. "What is it called?" |

Gauranga Avatara serves. |
Gauranga Avatara keeps a splendid home altar and worships his silas and Deities daily. |
After pradadam we discuss his silas. |

Kaveri looks on. |
